Subscriber perks if killing Locals account?

@lunduke making this public as others may have the same question. If I decide to kill my locals account, any impact to the lifetime or other subs?

Really only used Locals for the Lunduke content (and…admittedly…watch most videos through the youtube RSS feed to bypass ads but still be mobile accesible), so no other reason to keep it around.

I would imagine we’re going to have to maintain at least one of the three vehicles for getting funds to @lunduke : Locals, Substack, or Patreon.

Otherwise, how would that work?

Personally I watch mostly all the video content via youtube/rss like you to stop ads, actually I use ytdl-sub to sync the yt channel to my jellyfin and watch it on that, to stop ads, either way no ads.

I only used Locals as a way to chat/collaborate/discuss some of the content or just make random posts to the community for questions/answers etc, so for the latter of my needs this discourse fits well.

For the way to get funds to @lunduke I guess the best vehicle would be the one that takes the least percentage away from Bryan, so I guess that’s down to Bryan to figure that one imho.

Could just maintain a db and have a stripe account. A lot of extra legwork involved though, I’m sure there are ways to automate permissions and such once paid up.
