Help needed: how do you make all the topic "read" at once?

While I could technically search the Web for the answer, I’m probably not the only one with this problem. How do you mark all of the topics as read with a single action? Right now it tells me there’s 6 topics that are new, and a whole bunch of other topics I haven’t read all the replies to. How can I make it ignore all of that?

The closest analogy I could find:

[SHIFT]+b to bulk-select, and then [SHIFT]+d to “dismiss” all selected items.

But I haven’t had a chance to test it.

There also appears to be a filter feature on categories, so you don’t have to spend all your time “dismissing” stuff you don’t care about:

OH! Also, I forgot: Down at the bottom of the magnifying-glass drop-down, you’ll see this, if you have pending notifications. It’s basically the same thing as “mark all read” on Locals:

Doesn’t seem to work for me.

Nor for me, though maybe I’m not sure what screen to press shift-B on.

Hrm. It apparently only works inside of an open topic

I’ve been on a bunch of Discord servers in the past and I think it’s a function that can be turned on and you would have a menu button ontop when looking at new posts… here is an example from the 32bit cafe discord…

@lunduke I think just needs to enable the feature
