Discourse Math plugin?

This is kind of a stupid request, but I think it’d be neat to be able to type things like $f_c (z) = z^2 + c$ and have it actually render on the site. :)

That would definitely complete the circle. No message board is a nerd message board, unless it can do maths.

I approve of this nerdy addition :+1: :sweat_smile:

I will also voice my approval in words, and not just in likes, because words are move clearly visible. :)

Oh fine. Words it is. Math is nerdy so we ought to have it.

@lunduke Make Math Beautiful Again? I’ll test it here with the rendering equation:

$L_o \left( \mathbf{x} \to \omega_o \right ) = L_e \left( \mathbf{x} \to \omega_o \right ) +\int_\Omega { f_r(\omega_i, \omega_o)\ L_i\left( \omega_i \to \mathbf{x}\right)\ \langle \omega_i, \omega_g\rangle\ d\omega_i}$

And the Navier-Stokes equation:

$
\begin{aligned}
\rho \frac{d\mathbf{u}}{dt} =& -\nabla p + \eta \nabla^2 \mathbf{u} + \rho \mathbf{g} , ,\
\nabla \cdot \mathbf{u} =& 0
\end{aligned}
$

And the inviscid Burgers’ Equation:

$ \frac{\partial u}{\partial t} + u \frac{\partial u}{\partial x} = 0 $

@lunduke I wanted to ask politely for this feature.
